received grants from both the Federal Home Loan Bank and the Indiana
Housing and Finance Authority to do our first homeowner
rehabilitation project. 1998

We participated in 2 housing projects in the Aurora north side
area - infill housing and homeowner rehabilitation.
Also, we received approval for the tax credits and grants to
build senior apartments in Logan. 1999
» We received
approval to renovate a school in Dublin Indiana into senior
apartments. This was our first venture into providing
housing outside of the Area 12 region. Construction on North
Dearborn Village (Logan) began and the first apartments
were rented. 2000

We
completed the North Dearborn Village 54 unit senior
independent living facility in Logan , Indiana. We also
rehabbed a school into a 25 unit senior independent living
facility - Dublin Village in Dublin,
Indiana. 2001
» We
received grants to do home owner rehab in Milan and Moores
Hill. 2002
» Developed the Aurora
YMCA, purchased Pleasant View Apartments in Hanover,
and took over management of Homestead Apartments in West
Baden. We also received tax credits/funding for addition
and renovation of 36 senior apartments in the Tyson School in
Versailles and to add 26 units to North Dearborn Village. 2004 »
North Dearborn Village, Phase II, Logan, was constructed and
fully leased. Tyson School
Apartments, Versailles, were constructed and met lease up. 2005

We received a feasibility study grant from IHFA to determine
whether additional elderly apartments are needed in Switzerland
County. We purchased a single family home in
Dillsboro to be our first buy/rehab sale property. 3
elderly homeowners were assisted with home repairs (1 in Ohio
County, 2 in Jefferson
County) though a bank CRA grant.
2006
»
We received a grant to do owner
occupied rehab in Dearborn County. We purchased a home in
Dillsboro and began the process to rehab it and then sell it
to an income qualified individual. In June, we took
ownership of Dillsboro Village
Apartments, a HUD senior community.
2007
»
By pooling a variety of
revenue sources, we began an on-going home repair service
for older adults and persons with disabilities. The
Dearborn County owner occupied rehab grant was completed.
We also completed the buy/rehab/sell home in Dillsboro.
